Austrian Cooperative Research

Austrian Cooperative Research (ACR) is a network of private, non-profit research institutes that carry out research and development on behalf of businesses. The ACR institutes support SMEs in their research and innovation activities, acting as outsourced development departments that SMEs can call upon as and when required. Their strength lies in their threefold bridging role: from academia to industry, from leading companies to SMEs, and from the international to the Austrian innovation system.
