Forschung Burgenland
Forward-looking control concepts for modern buildings, smart connected energy systems and security solutions for information technology are examples of the topics that the staff at Forschung Burgenland are playing a key role in developing, in collaboration with Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. To this end, Forschung Burgenland operates two research centres, where trends and new research concepts are devised and further developed: the Centre for Building Technology and the Centre for Energy Transition.
Forschung Burgenland works at its sites in Eisenstadt, Pinkafeld and Güssing to further develop current trends and innovative research concepts. In close collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences, research is carried out at the sites in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld across the degree programmes in Energy & Environment, Business, Information Technology, and Social Sciences & Health. At the Güssing site, the main areas of focus and expertise are on the energy supply of the future and renewable energy.
